Our program goes beyond traditional technical cybersecurity training. We offer a well-rounded curriculum that includes cybercrime, investigations, data analysis, and digital forensics. It is aligned with the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework. You will not only learn to protect computer systems from cyber threats but also gain insight into threat actors, their tactics, cyber law enforcement, and offensive cybersecurity strategies. The curriculum is designed for those pursuing careers in both the private sector and government agencies.
The University of Scranton does not require any entrance exams. Our cybersecurity faculty leads the admissions process, allowing us to evaluate applicants holistically and welcome students from all disciplines. In some cases, we may recommend a two-year progression instead of the one-year track to ensure students have the time and support needed to successfully manage the program's coursework.
