Practicing speech-language pathologists must hold a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, as well as state licensure. Our program prepares students to become certified and licensed in the field.

Rigorous Curriculum - Flexible Format

63 Credits | 2-Year, Full-Time Program | Synchronous Online

This new and highly anticipated graduate program is offered in a blended learning environment, combining synchronous remote academic coursework with experiential learning.

Since more than 75% of the program is conducted remotely, the program is designed to accommodate students from across the United States and beyond.

Students may elect to complete an additional 10-credit hours to obtain a Healthcare Specialization in order to meet individual career goals.

Candidacy Statement

The Master of Science (M.S.) education program in speech-language pathology (distance education) at The University of Scranton is a Candidate for Accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700. Candidacy is a “preaccreditation” status with the CAA, awarded to developing or emerging programs for a maximum period of 5 years.
