Nurse Anesthesia, DNP: Curriculum

83 CREDITS REQUIRED

The average program duration is 36 months of full-time study, and there is no part-time option for the program. Students complete 36 credits during their first year, 26 credits during their second year and 21 credits during their third year in the program.

The curriculum includes didactic coursework, simulation laboratory, and clinical experiences at the programs Affiliated Clinical Sites where you will gain more than 2,000 hours of clinical experience and participate with patients whose ages range throughout the lifespan.

Courses prepared students to administer all types of anesthesia to diverse populations in a variety of clinical settings. Classes teach topics including pharmacology, research methodology, physiology, pathophysiology, and nurse anesthesia.
