Degree and Minimum GPA
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3.0 minimum undergraduate GPA
Transcripts Official transcripts required from degree-granting schools
Official GMAT/GRE Score N/A
Prerequisite Courses for Provisionally Accepted Students

Students who don’t have an undergraduate degree in accounting or business must take additional Master of Accountancy (MAcc) Bridge courses:

  • ACC 502 Accounting for Management
  • ACC 505 Intermediate Accounting I
  • ACC 506 Intermediate Accounting II
  • ACC 507 Intermediate Accounting III

Students may also take ACC 538 Accounting Communication or ACC 539 Accounting Ethics instead of ACC 502.

MAcc Academic Honesty Agreement

In recognition of the high ethical demands of the accounting and financial management profession, this program has adopted a zero tolerance policy for any dishonesty.

All applicants must sign the Master of Accountancy Program Student Applicant Academic Honesty Certification and Agreement form as a condition of acceptance.

  • One letter of recommendation, from someone with whom the applicant has an academic or professional relationship
  • Applicants with a non-business Bachelor’s degree (e.g., mathematics) from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or better will be considered. Professional accounting experience, recommendations, and other graduate admission information will also be considered.
