**Students enrolling in the University’s accounting programs may be interested in obtaining a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or other professional accountancy certifications. In addition to other requirements, many states require 150 semester hours of education within a prescribed accounting coursework curriculum for obtaining a CPA license.
