Scranton’s MBA with a Business Analytics specialization consists of 12 courses that combine foundational knowledge with hands-on learning to develop your skills. Topics include data mining, data visualization, statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
Guided by Jesuit tradition, our MBA is housed in the Kania School of Management, which is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Foundation courses are available for students needing supplemental education in areas such as statistics or economics, but may be waived depending on a student’s background education.
This specialization is taken as part of the 39 total credits required for the MBA degree.

The Business Analytics specialization of Scranton’s MBA curriculum will prepare you to:

Admissions Requirements
To apply for Scranton’s Master of Business Administration program, you’ll need:

- Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities
- Professional résumé
- Personal Statement
- Two letters of reference — at least 1 from a supervisor or other professional reference
